It’s where I share what doesn’t always make it into the finished work—false starts, behind-the-scenes notes, and stories that still have something to say.

You’ll also find original fiction, personal essays, reflections, and the occasional book, film, or song that echoes the themes of deep ties, small towns, addiction, disconnection, and loss of a way of life.

It’s honest. Sometimes raw. But mostly, it’s about embracing these realities one sentence at a time.
